You want to take your power back.
You’re tired from the ups and downs, highs and lows, and want to finally break through. Perhaps you want to build a business, want to find a partner, or manifest any other goal you’ve been desiring for a while. But despite your best efforts, results are minimal. You might have had some wins, but nothing sticks. It seems like reality refuses to give you what you want.
If that’s you, the following could be an eye-opener.
It’s all a frequency game
When I was depressed for six years, nothing went my way.
No matter how hard I tried, life was an uphill battle. I wanted to meet new friends and get more women into my life, so I tested dozens of pickup books to improve my social skills. Technically, I got better. I could open conversations, get numbers, and date women. But I was still struggling.
Yes, I had to go through a learning curve. One must learn how to get what he wants. But if skills, knowledge and experience were all you needed to succeed, then a lot more people would be getting rich and marrying the love of their lives.
Success takes more than that. It has its own frequency.
And that frequency does not include depression, pessimism, complacency, or any other type of negativity.
Manifestation demands a flow of steady, positive energy.
You must remove, not add
The analytical self-helper would say, “OK, what do I need to learn or do to fix this?”
The answer is nothing. You only need to remove. Stop consuming anything negative. The most emotionally intelligent people are highly aware of what they consume and are involved with. The news, social content, negative or overly pessimistic people, negative experiences like arguing or fighting, all suck your energy dry.
Let them go.
They could leave you drained and broken. Any positive energy you might have had prior to these experiences, is not only gone but replaced with negative energy. That’s the destructive power of negative consumption.
In 2024 I left my job to start a business. Four months in, I only landed one client. For me, it was a big win. I was happy and thrilled to experience some success. When I shared it with my friend, he said, “What, only one? That’s it? What do you mean only one? That’s not good.”
I have spoken with him only once since then.
I did not want to be around him anymore. Things were tough already, and I couldn’t risk having negativity whispered into my ear.
Better to lose a friend than to lose your dreams.
I was already tired of that relationship and contemplated ending it.
I’m glad I did.
Distractions that could pull you back in
So you’ve started removing negativity from your life.
You’ve stopped eating junk food, de-prioritized some friends, and generally feel a lot better about yourself. Your energy is shifting. However, a few things could pull you back into the whirlpool of negativity.
First, beware of porn. I think sex tends to linger in the back of many men’s lives these days (including mine), and serves as an escape from stress. Social media and dating apps have become sexual “danger zones”. These platforms could trigger many sexual thoughts. From there, porn is just a tap away. Use these triggers to improve your self-awareness.
Second, beware of negative social content. A lot is happening in the world, and unless one is careful, it’s easy to burden yourself with things you have no control over. It’s a complete waste of energy. If you’re in a position to do something about corruption, mass pedophilia, or ongoing war, then you should probably do it. But most of us aren’t, and should make an effort to go on with our lives.
Third, watch what you eat. I’ve been bulking to grow muscle in the last few months, but stopped since it made my stomach ache. Even healthy food could affect you when you overeat. Also, foods like bananas and rice can spike your sugar levels and deplete your energy. Junk food is a non-negotiable.
Lastly, watch who you share your life with. Sometimes I don’t share certain info with certain people. I prefer to keep some things for myself. I think it’s better to have a couple of good friends that have your best interest in mind, rather than five others who don’t feel good about themselves and could kill your vibe.
Some remedies for keeping your vibe clean
Here are a few things that help me stay focused on my lane:
- Do work you love- whatever it might be, it will not only keep you productive, but also keep the festive feeling inside.
- Listen to “clean music”- I don’t listen to hip-hop and rap anymore. All the cursing and showing off is nothing but nonsense in my opinion, and can damage your energy.
- Stretch and meditate- in the morning. Stretching keeps the energy flowing in your body, and even a quick five-minute meditation can calm your mind.
- Be with people you love- spend more time with that one person that makes you feel better just by being around them.
- Eat “clean food” and stop three hours before bedtime- try to keep your fruits and vegetables organic, and avoid processed foods.
- Never compromise sleep- go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. I know, it’s tougher when you have kids :)
- Semen retention- this topic is somewhat controversial, but words can’t explain the benefits of it. Reaching orgasm is fantastic, but men can turn their lives around just by retaining for a week at a time.
Conclusion
There comes a point when a person does not need more skills or knowledge. They need to keep their energy positive and steady for longer periods of time. This is the most efficient and fail-proof way to change your life, in my experience. Sooner or later, reality tends to “bend” and your desires manifest more easily.
It’s harder to distract you, and things start to happen of their own accord.
I hope this helps.
