- Description: Being a lone wolf isn’t cool. It’s terrible

I vividly remember the years of 2017–2019.

We walked around freely in Tel-Aviv at night, hanging out and having the best time ever.

I could cry thinking about those days.

The funny thing is, we weren’t doing anything “purposeful.” We weren’t building a business, or getting in shape, or helping others in crisis. *We simply went out to talk to women in bars, all four of us, drinking and laughing our asses off*

It’s the least purposeful thing I can think of.

## **What made this fun wasn’t the act itself, but the fact we were together.**

These were the best years in my life.

I was around people — and not just anyone — but people who were on the same page as me. We wanted the same things out of life and went after them. Life felt frictionless. Smooth. I’ve experienced true joy just being around my friends.

Humans aren’t meant to spend life alone, doing “monk mode” every two years. I honestly believe it’s a dangerous idea. Humans are meant to socialize, meet other people, and love.

If you’re not doing the above, I guarantee you’re missing out on life. No amount of time spent on “hustle” or doing “boss things” can ever make up for human connection.

**Being a lone wolf isn’t cool; it’s terrible. Life as a lone wolf is much harder than life in a pack.**

Sure, independence is important. You won’t be able to have much of a life if you can’t do things yourself or even think for yourself. But I think we self-helpers have lost the plot. The more I understand the roots of my depression, the more I understand that emotions are simple.

If your basic needs aren’t being met, that’s when things start to fall apart.

Love, a level of safety (of any kind), a close friend to talk to.

We need those things to not only survive, but thrive.

In my experience, it’s extremely hard to live a life of purpose and growth without them.

Something is always missing…

And you’ll scratch your head, run around in circles, and fail a hundred times before you realize you need to take care of the basics first. So let’s not isolate ourselves in any manner, shape, or form.

Keep in touch with close friends.

Tell your family you love them.

And sign up to my mastermind for $5000…

I’m joking 😄

Take care of yourself, and whenever something doesn’t work, listen to your instincts. Even if the feeling is vague, they are usually right.
